Placed a Mustang order? Expect delays...
If any of you are in the same shoes I am in...it sucks. I placed an order for a new 2021 Mustang. In hindsight, I wish I ordered just two weeks earlier. There was a shutdown at the Flat Rock, MI assembly plant about eight days ago. Well, that shutdown hit again. But now, with an additional 2-3 week shutdown.
My car was just nine days away from being built
. The lulls of not having your car as summer approach sucks. I hope others with orders for a new Mustang are serving better than I am.

Other North American plant closures include the Chicago Assembly Plant and Kansas City Assembly Plant during the weeks of April 19 and 26. Also, the Kentucky Truck Plant will be closed the weeks of April 26 and May 3, and super shifts will not be worked from May 8 through the week beginning May 31.
